We work in small teams, so you'll be working closely with both clients and Partners from day one; you'll be viewed as a full-on professional, not just an employee. Our open and relatively informal office of about 50 consultants, from widely varied educational and professional backgrounds, will offer you ample room to use your initiative.
Here are a few examples of the roles undertaken by recent recruits to the Benelux office and as you can see, we aim to offer responsibility within important projects from the outset:
- A 24-year-old consultant reviewing a client organisation's finances and in the process discovering their core business to be far less profitable than previously estimated;
- A 32-year-old consultant helping a client organisation implement a comprehensive change programme; and
- A 28-year-old consultant demonstrating precisely why acquisition is the only financially viable route to expansion in Germany in the current economic climate.
The Benelux office is active across all sectors and business areas covered by OC&C worldwide. We work seamlessly with other offices around the globe in mixed teams or through exchanging people which enables us to all exchange ideas and share experience. We consciously look to maximise our consultants' exposure to a wide range of experiences throughout the OC&C global operation as part of your personal development. This way of working means you can expect to quickly find yourself working across sectors, clients, types of project and even countries.
In Benelux, we have a particularly strong presence in retail, transport and private equity. The projects we work on vary greatly in duration: from as little as one or two weeks to several months; they are mainly focused on the development of strategy, although in some cases we also go on to help clients with implementation of the new strategy.
We work from our prime office location in Rotterdam however we aim to spend much of our time with on site with clients.
